New Ford F-250 for Sale

Heavy-duty trucks are Ford’s specialty. The F-250 Super Duty is a true masterpiece.  We love sitting high up on the road, towering over other drivers in a vehicle that’s simply more capable. There’s little that the F-250 can’t do with its size. Towing and off-roading are well within the F-250’s wheelhouse — but that’s not all. The F-250 can even double as a practical family vehicle with a spacious extended cab. For the capable truck that can do it all without blinking, look no further than an F-250. Below we’ll dive into some of the details we love the most about the F-250.

The Mighty Powertrains

One of the best parts of driving a heavy duty truck is the feeling under your foot when you press down on the gas. The engine roaring to life is easy to feel with your foot, and the sound massages your eardrums too. If you haven’t felt an F-250 powertrain, we recommend scheduling a test drive as soon as possible.

The F-250 has three powertrain options. Standard is the 385-horsepower 6.2 liter V-8. If you want a bigger V-8, Ford has you covered with the 430-horsepower 7.3 liter V-8. And for those who prefer a diesel option, the Power Stroke 6.7 liter V-8 engine makes a whopping 475 horsepower. All of these powertrains make the F-250 an incredibly capable towing machine, regardless of the engine.

Trail Capabilities

While all F-250s offer a premium suspension that’s well equipped to handle a sizable amount of off-roading, for some of us, that just isn’t enough. For those who plan to spend much of their time driving their F-250 on the trail, an off-road package is available. It’s called Tremor, and offers a number of upgrades including a lift kit and bigger tires. Tremor has everything you need to tear up the trail.

Trims and Features

Ford always impresses with the variety of features it offers on its vehicles. While we go through these features, it’s important to remember that even the stripped down F-250 Super Duty trucks are comfy and surprisingly well equipped. Features go all the way up to the King Ranch model, which offers massaging seats among other amenities. Among the more regular features offered on the F-250 are ambient lighting, heated and cooled front seats, and wireless charging. Trims start with the XL, and range all the way up to the snazzy limited. In the middle of the road is the Lariat, with just enough premium features for most drivers.

2023 Ford F-250

While it won’t be available until early 2023, we’re excited about the prospect of the 2023 Ford F-250 Super Duty. For this model year, there’s a lot new about the F-250. The exterior is getting a redesign and there are a host of new powertrain options. In addition, there are features planned to make towing safer too. We’re excited for this new generation of Ford Super Duty trucks, but in the meantime we’re still in love with the current F-250s.
